So, mom, sis and I are fans of the original Clash of the Titans movie. We went to the theater this last Sunday to see the remake. As a movie, it was very good. As a remake of the classic...

... It was abysmal.

I expect a remake the carry the same plot as the original. I expect a few changes to take place, yes, but if I enjoy an original storyline then I want the remake to keep that. This one didn't. In fact, it was an epic failure in that regard.

I could rant and rave about this for hours but I won't. Suffice it to say, I was sorely disappointed as was my mother. Considering this was the first time we'd managed to get her into a movie theater since we were kids, the movie really spoiled the day.

Moral of the story: If you liked the original, don't waste your money on the remake. Seriously.
